STATION MANAGER AUVERGNE STATION N.T We are now inviting applications for the position of Manager for Auvergne Station. Located in the Victoria River District, Auvergne covers 4,142 sq km and runs up to 32,000 head cattle. Operating as a breeding property, Auvergne progeny is predominantly destined for the South East Asian live export market. Reporting to General Manager - NT/WA Region, you will have full responsibility for the station operations. The successful applicant will have: •An exceptional ability to train, lead and efficiently manage staff •Strong OHS focus •Excellent cattle husbandry skills •Good financial budgeting skills •Possess good time management and communication skills •Strong computing and livestock record-keeping skills •Experience in planning and delivery of maintenance programs for station plant and infrastructure •Ability to develop and execute station improvement and development plans to achieve set targets/outcomes Highly competitive and attractive salary packages with conditions are on offer. ASSISTANT MANAGER NEWCASTLE WATERS STATION N.T Assistant Manager – Newcastle Waters * Excellent career development opportunity * Iconic NT station * Leadership position Located in the Barkly region of the Northern Territory, Newcastle Waters covers 10,353 sq km and runs up to 60,000 head cattle including 20,000 commercial Brahman breeders. Progeny from Newcastle Waters target both the South East Asian live export market and CPC Queensland properties for finishing. Reporting to the “Manager – Newcastle Waters Group” you will have full responsibility for the NCW commercial herd and station operations. The successful applicant will have: •Previous experience in the day to day operations of a medium size station; •Effective people management skills with a desire to develop and train your team •Committed OHS focus •Ability to understand station financial outcomes as they compare to projected budgets and forecasts •Excellent cattle husbandry skills •Good time management and communication skills •Effective management of station maintenance programs •Good computer skills and record keeping including timely report preparation and livestock documentation •Tertiary qualifications are not essential but will be considered an advantage •Pilots licence or willingness to obtain Highly competitive and attractive salary packages with conditions are on offer. STUD MANAGER NEWCASTLE WATERS STATION Stud Manager – Newcastle Waters We are delighted to invite applications for the position of Stud Manager for Newcastle Waters Station. Located in the Barkly region of the Northern Territory, Newcastle Waters covers 10,353 sq km and runs up to 60,000 head cattle including 20,000 commercial Brahman breeders. Newcastle Waters is also home to the Newcastle Waters Brahman stud, which comprises 4,000 stud females including 30 single sire herds, annually producing 1,000 herd bulls for CPC's northern properties. Reporting to the “Manager – Newcastle Waters Group” you will have full responsibility for the NCW stud herd. Your direct reports will include: • Stud Registrar • Stud stock camp (5) The successful candidate will: •Have previous experience in the day to day operations of a medium size stud; •Have effective people management skills as you will be dealing with permanent and causal employees as well as contractors; •Develop an understanding of the revenue, cost and EBITDA outcomes as they compare to projected budgets and reforecasts; •Have the ability to plan and ensure maintenance programs are delivered; •Be responsible for reporting timely preparation and submission of reports and livestock documentation as required. Key competencies include: •Strong OHS focus •Excellent cattle husbandry skills and adherence to Animal Welfare practices •Solid leadership skills •Good time management and communication skills •Open and transparent style of management •Good people management and people development skills •Good computing and livestock record keeping skills.
