Expressions of Interest for Immediate Start - Station / Camp Coo CPC 2016 We are looking for employees with a proactive, positive and can-do attitude to join our team. CPC hires staff from a diverse range of backgrounds with a variety of knowledge, skills and abilities. Join us in the uniquely Australian experience of working on one of CPC's cattle stations in the Australian Outback. Safety is our most important value at CPC - The welfare of CPC's people, customers, animals and land is paramount. This position would suit an adventurous, outgoing person with high hygiene standards, some cooking experience and who is happy to get back to basics, sleep under the stars and experience life on a working cattle station. The role involves all aspects of cooking (food budgeting, prep, cooking and cleaning up) and will be required to camp out when needed with a stock camp of 8 people. Essential Criteria Interest and/or experience in rural locations and the outback Demonstrated passion for farming and enthusiasm to learn more Manual Drivers Licence Current basic first aid certificate Q-Fever vaccination (desirable) We require a dependable person who enjoys working as part of a small but hardworking team. Applicants must have a strong work ethic, be clean, tidy, self-motivated and have good time management, communication & organisational skills. The Bore Runner refuels bores and maintains turnkey nest dams, motors, troughs and surrounding fences to ensure continual water supply to all stock. Duties will include: Checking station water points and maintaining water facilities and pipelines Trough and fencing repairs Vehicle and Machinery operation Yard Repairs and Maintenance - including fencing & welding Assist with vehicle and machinery maintenance and repairs Follow safe operating procedures General station maintenance Essential Criteria Willingness to live in a remote locations in the outback Demonstrated passion for farming and enthusiasm to learn more Manual Drivers License Previous experience operating a grader would be advantageous Motorbike license and Truck License (MR ) preferred Current basic first aid certificate Q-Fever vaccination This is a physical job that includes both indoor and outdoor work in all types of weather and temperature environments. This job can be physically strenuous (demanding) from time to time. You will be expected to be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, lift, grip, grasp, push and pull various tools and equipment. To be successful in this role you must have a good horse riding ability and some knowledge of cattle is an advantage but not essential as on the job training will be provided. Technical Assistant Newcastle Waters Station NT Technical Assistant Newcastle Waters Station NT CPC requires a Technical Assistant to join our team at Newcastle Waters Station NT, a large 10,000 head multi sire bull breeding unit based on the Barkly Tablelands. The role will involve assisting the Stud Manager in all data recording aspects of breeding operations.
